A Little Christmas Magic Review

BEWARE OF FALSE REVIEWS & REVIEWERS. SOME REVIEWERS HAVE ONLY ONE REVIEW TO THEIR NAME. NOW WHEN ITS A POSITIVE REVIEW THAT TELLS ME THEY WERE INVOLVED WITH THE MOVIE. IF ITS A NEGATIVE REVIEW THEN THEY MIGHT HAVE A GRUDGE AGAINST THE FILM . I HAVE REVIEWED OVER 200 HOLIDAY FILMS. I HAVE NO AGENDA.

Its Christmas eve day &  Caring creatures of the forest help Benson Bear save his loved ones on Christmas Eve in A Little Christmas Magic.

Not great but it is cute.  This is really for children in the 4-8 year old range.  Everyone else will be bored.

The Small One A Disney Animated Masterpiece

We all grew up loving all the Rankin-Bass Christmas Cartoons. Every year I still love to watch "Rudolf" "Santa Claus in Coming to Town", "Frosty the Snowman" as well "The Grinch". Well here is a lesser known Animated Christmas Cartoon that in reality is a true "Christmas Story"

In this special Outside of the city of Nazareth, a young boy and his father own four donkeys. Three of these donkeys are young and strong. The fourth donkey, Small One, is old and weak, but the boy loves him anyway. Every day, the boy and the donkey play together before they go to work, helping the boy's father to collect wood.

The boy and his father take the donkeys to work one morning, as they always do. Many times, the boy loads Small One with small sticks, since Small One can't carry heavy loads any more. Small One even has trouble carrying stacks of small sticks and the boy helps to carry them for him.

That evening, the boy's father tells the boy that he has to sell Small One. Devastated, but understanding, the boy asks if he can be the one to sell his best friend. The father agrees and tells him that he has to sell him for one piece of silver. That night, the boy comforts Small One and promises to find him a gentle and loving master.

The next morning, the boy takes Small One to the market in Nazareth. Unfortunately, nobody wants an old weak donkey but the tanner, and he only wants to kill Small One to make leather out of his hide. After failing to find another buyer, the boy and his donkey return to the tanner's shop. The boy weeps, and Small One, accepting his fate under the tanner's knife, tenderly consoles the boy.

Don't worry there is a very happy ending. This should be seen by everyone. The makers of this should be proud. There is not a false note in this.

Crackers About Christmas AKA Christmas Cracker

This is a fun special to watch that is only on Netflix streaming.  This shows us how certain people in the UK celebrate Christmas.  Some of them all year long.   Lots of fun to watch.  This special doesn't make fun of these people which is nice.  What I noticed is that these people featured in this special are all "Happy" people.   If the same type of special was done in America (By an American Production Company)   if would be a more cynical special.

I enjoyed this film.  I hope there will be another one.

Comfort and Joy Loved This One

I have been a fan of Nancy McKeon since her "Facts of Life" days. She always made interesting films and this was no exception.
Now I know people get sick & tired twists on "It's a Wonderful Life" but this in reality isn't that. What this is about a modern woman who is riding high in her career and she doesn't ever see herself married with children. Then On Christmas Eve day she gets in a car wreck and wakes up to find herself married to a man she has never met. She also has 2 children.
The film is worth watching because the cast is great and they make the materiel pop. The dinner table scene at the end makes this worth watching. I cried because I have been in situations with a parent criticizing everything about my life and someone that I loved having my back!
Seek this film out. It is a winner

Christmas on Salvation Street A Modern Day Racist Movie

This is not a good film. The writing is terrible. The whole film plays like a TV- pilot to a bad TV-Show. The show is full of stereo- types and offers nothing new. Now I have seen 1 movie a day about Christmas for the past 2 months and this by far was the worse. I will not fault the main actors in this but the supporting actors are BAD. The "gang" members are not scary but laughable. The ending is enough to make you gag on your Eggnog. The reason why this plays like pilot is because many plot lines (to me) go unresolved.

Now if I were an African-American I would be offended on how all them are portrayed in this film. In this film all African Americans are criminals, gang members and have bad influences on white children.

There is nothing good about this film.  It is more racist than "Birth of a Nation"

Toys Will Be Toys A review Dvd

In this film A toy shop owner closes the store for the night and goes home. After business hours in a toy store, the merchandise comes to life, and the toys enjoy a bit of musical nightlife. There is an impromptu parade; the military turns out, and the captain of the guard falls in love with a doll. This, of course, leads into a singalong of "Oh! You Beautiful Doll," complete with a bouncing ball to follow. Watch for Koko the Clown and Popeye in cameo appearances and caricatures of Harpo Marx and Bob Hope (his head appears as a "Ski Slide").
Not a Christmas Cartoon but also sold on DVD's that contain Christmas Cartoons. However it it worth watching.

The Candlemaker Dvd 1957 A Review

This is a Christmas Cartoon that is not very good.

The film is set at Christmas time. The narrator starts out with:
Many years ago, before there were any automobiles and before we had electricity or even gas lighting and when people used horses if they wanted to go out for a ride and oil lamps and candles if they needed a light, there lived in a small country town, yes, a butcher, a baker, and a candlestick-maker. With just over a week to go before Christmas, the townspeople were busy indeed and none more so than the candle maker and his young son, Tom.
The animation is okay but the story is too preachy and its target audience of children will lose interest fast.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Review of Season 7

I like this show its fun but I am also not a fan of all these women. Season 7 to me has been the most interesting season since season 1.
Now much of drama has been caused because of Lisa Rinna. I truly believe she is never one that is quite. She is always talking. I also think "She meant no harm" when she said "Kim was close to death" because in reality I think Lisa thinks "Kim still drinks and does whatever" and she doesn't want to see anything bad happen to Kim. She is afraid that if she says "Nothing" and something does happen to Kim she would feel guilty. This is why she is bitchy around Kim. Since she thinks "Kim is not getting help she thinks that Kyle is an enabler". This leads me to the conversation Lisa she had with Eden Sassoon.
Eden is a recovering alcoholic. When Lisa told Eden about Kim and Kyle Eden thought she could help them. The next time Eden saw Kyle she repeated what "Lisa said". Then hell broke loose.
Later we learn that Eden lost her sister to addiction and that her mother was also in recovery. There was a scene to me where Eden and her mom had a conversion about "Eden should not have gotten involved" with Kim & Kyle. To me this scene was bullshit. It looked to me Bravo saw Lisa Rinna popularity going down and wanted to save Eden and the scene between Eden and her mom seem to have been shot months after the fight between Lisa, Kyle, & Eden.
Now I still think Lisa meant no harm but was lying when she said she "Did Not remember saying Kim was close to death". However she came clean. I think Kyle should forgive her only because Lisa meant no harm and that carrying a grudge is a heavy load.
Now I love Eileen and Ericka. I never herd of them before this show. I like them and Lisa Rinna because they all came from nothing and I could be easily be friends with them. Now I am sober for 20 years now so I could be friends with Eden but not "Best friends"!
I still like Kyle. I love the fact now she is trying everything that she can to be on good term with her sister Kim.
Lisa Vanderpump is someone who you can't trust. If she doesn't like you she makes your life hell. She does what she can to make other not like you.
Dorit is nasty fake & rude! She and her husband sound like Euro- Trash. Even though she is an American her fake accent makes her sound like she is mentally challenged. SHE NEEDS TO GO

The Star of Bethlehem 1956 Dvd Review

This animated short tells the story of the birth of Jesus and the events that surrounded his birth. Well made and not insulting to anybody. If your looking for a well made Christmas cartoon that is about the birth of Jesus then watch this one. It is available to stream for free.

A Star Shall Rise Dvd Review

Not a bad movie but nothing to brag about. There is not a scene in this film that has been done in other films and done better. This film steels from old Hollywood Movies as well as more current films.
In this film: During the Christmas season a high school music teacher is hired by a handsome widower to give music lessons to his teenage daughters. Their lives are turned around for the better as the family grows closer and learns the importance of love, friendship and the meaning of Christmas
There is no major ground breaking moments here. There is also nothing too special. The actors are fine and they do their best with a pedestrian script.
Now this film is worth watching but as soon as its over you will not remember anything about it!

The Sound of Christmas Review

George and The Christmas Star A Review

he special opens with a man named George, who lives alone with his pet cat, finishing up the decorations on his Christmas tree by putting up a paper star. However, when he looks at the result, he finds it disappointing and tries several odd alternatives before looking out the window. He sees the Star of Bethlehem shining in the sky outside and decides that it would make the perfect topper for his Christmas tree.
This is not your ordinary Christmas special. It is very different. Give it a try

The Pilgrimage Play 1949 A Review

This movie takes liberties when it comes to context, but it is important to note that it is a movie adaptation of a PLAY. Changing scenes takes time, and in the context of a play, it is easier and less time consuming to simply move events and dialogue into the scene at hand. It is helpful to remember that Jesus was teaching ALL the time, healing diseases ALL the time, casting out demons ALL the time. If you don't let the somewhat apocryphal nature of this telling bother you too much, this movie is well worth watching. It is one of the very few Jesus movies in the public domain, so it is truly a gift to the world.
Now for me who doesn't know that much about "The Bible" I found this more like watching an educational film you would see in school. It held my attention. I think if this film was made today they would change a few things. Many scenes are just on master shot and it stalls the film. Other thank that I have no complaints. By the time the film ended I wanted to know more.
Children will be bored watching this. Adults might be at times. If you don't think of the film as a "film" and think about as a "Teaching tool" then you will enjoy this

Christmas Grace Movie Review Beyond Bad

.

Christmas Grace tells the story of two rival toy store owners competing for business over several Christmas seasons. One of them is Gary (RyanIver Klann), a young toy store owner who runs an honest business and who tries to maintain a good reputation with his customers. Things are running smoothly for Gary until his business is threatened when a much larger toy company moves to the neighborhood. The owner of this larger company, Mr. Tollman (Tim Kaiser), is a ruthless businessman who voraciously wants to grow his business and eliminate competition. Since his most immediate competition is Gary's store, he sets his target on him. As the story unfolds, it becomes very clear that God is at work in the lives of these two men, and God's grace and providence work out in ways neither of them could have imagined.

There is nothing professional about this film. Its bad. It slow moving & anti climatic. Its also too preachy. I don't mind a religious message but they do hit you over the head with it every 2 minutes. This film is not worth your time.

I don't mind a religious message. I just don't like bad films. This movie Sucks

Chances are The Big Bang Theory Will Return for Season 11

Rumor has it the cast wants a one year contract. CBS wants 2 years. Money is the 2nd issue. I have a feeling the cast most likely wants more points on the back end. Warner's Might want to give that to them but only on the episodes for that are produced under the new contract,  They do not want to make it retroactive.

It's more than  likely "The Big Bang Theory" will return.. The reason being is the fact that CBS wants to keep it on the air because they have a spin-off show called "Sheldon" that would benefit handsomely if it airs directly behind new episodes of "The Big Bang Theory" Now don't worry Jim Parsons is not leaving "The Big Bang Theory". The spin-off show "Sheldon" is a prequel show that is about a young genius child (Sheldon) growing up in Texas.
