DELETED FOOTAGE Twin Peaks Fire Walk with Me

Twin Peaks made is TV debut in 1990. The show lasted a total of 2 season for a total of 29 episodes.

A year after the show was cancelled David Lynch made "TP:FWWM". Rumor had it that the original cut was over 3 hours. When the movie was released it was just a little over 2 hours.

Now what was cut out is just specaution. Rumors again say it was mostly cameos from the cast of the TV show. Chances are however they were cut out for various reasons. I know lots of this footage that wa cut was unscripted material.

Now "Twin Peaks Fire walk Me" needs a special edition DVD release. Complete with deleted scenes. Twin Peaks is a classic TV show and the movie as well. The show has millions of fans and its base continues to grow. SO New Line pay the bucks to get the rights to release the deleted footage on DVD.

If New Line was smart they give the owners of the deleted $1 for each dvd that is sold for the first year. Then on the 2nd year of its release cut it to .75 cents. Then year 3 of its release .5o cents. 4th Year knock it down to just .25 cents.

Also New Line could produce a TV special about Twin Peaks. They could then debut a few of the deleted footage on that TV. This would get the fans excited and ready to buy.

IS there a JAWS 5 in the works?

Steven Spielberg has been quoted saying "He wishes that he was involved with Jaws 2 because the public seems to think that he was". Well since another Spielberg movie ( "Indiana Jones") has proven to be very popular (& years after the last installment) its not out of the question that Universal might be considering another "Jaws" movie. If so maybe Steven will be involved with it.? If he is I wouldn't be surprised that Universal would act like the last 2 movies did not exist if they do make another JAWS movie. This is the same thing that another studio did. The makers of HALLOWEEN H20 ignored anything that happened in Halloween 3 to Halloween 6.

I would love to see "JAWS 5" be called "Jaws: The terror returns"

THE DARK KNIGHT

Not a review. I have not watched it yet. I am only writing because the news the movie is generating. It has broke lots of box office records. All I can say is good for everyone involved with this movie.

Just remember Heath Ledger did not do this by himself. We need to give credit to all the actors in this movie.

Ellen Day 3 I still miss my cat

I am going on a trip in the morning. This was planned weeks ago. I am glad I was around when Ellen passed. It kills me though that she is no longer here to greet me when I Wake up in the morning or when I get home from work. She had a faint "meow". She only did this to me.

I know I sound crazy but that cat was the most consistent thing in my life.

Ellen Day 2

On July 26 I buried my beloved cat Ellen. Every time I think of my cat I get a pit in my stomach. I miss my girl.

Its now (almost) 5 years later.  I still think of her often.  She was only about  6 months old when I got sober.
I adopted her because I was just "COMING OUT" and it was a terrifying ordeal for me to come out.  I thought once I came out nobody love but I would still have "ellen"..  Well "ellen" was a one person cat.  She loved me.  She didn't care I was gay or straight. fat or thin.  She was with from 1997 to 2008.  We moved from Northridge to New Orleans to Bay St Louis MS.  She is buried on our property there.  I still think her little soul is still there guarding the home from mice!

Ordeal of Patty Hearst Review DVD By Stan Heck

This 1979 TVM is a by the numbers. Its interesting. The cast does a respectful job but as a viewer you get kind of mad when the last Denis Weaver comes on screen because the story of his relationship with his daughter is not needed in this movie.

If you want this movie let me know stan39520@yahoo.com

Guerrilla The Taking of Patty Hearst The Rise and Fall of the SLA

I was born in 1967. The Patty Hearst Kidnapping is the first major news story that I remember. To this today when if I hear that Patty Hearst is giving an interview I will watch it.

There have been 2 movies made about Patty Hearst. A TV MOVIE "The Ordeal of Patty Hearst" and the 1988 Theatrical "Patty Hearst" which was based on the book "Every Secret Thing" written by Patty Hearst.

However if you want a complete story I highly recommend "Guerrilla: The Taking of Patty Hearst". This documentary is great to those who grew up in the 1970's and remember the story.

Ellen My Cat She saved my life

Okay I never mention sad things but I have to get this out. I got my cat "Ellen" in May of 1997. For weeks before I got her I looked at lots of places that had kittens Then one day in Reseda I went to a pet store and they had a sign that you would get a free kitten if you bought $20 worth of pet supplies. Well I went to where they were keeping the kittens. There must of been 20 kittens. They were all playing together except the one in the back of the pin. This kitten was very quite but very sweet. She had these big eyes that melted my heart. She was shy but friendly so I could relate to this kitten. So I picked her up and held her like you would hold a baby. The kitten didn't mind it being held that way. So I brought her home. She became my baby. She was my "Ellen"

You must remember this was 1997. Ellen DeGeneres was coming out and here was this kitten that looked like she was wearing a TUX so I had to call her "Ellen".

"Ellen" my kitten was sweat. She loved to sit on my lap. A few months after I got "Ellen" my life went into the toilet. To make a long story I had to grow up despite my immaturity.

In August of 1997 I had a breakdown. I had to pull myself together. I thought for awhile that no one loved me or ever would. However right when I thought nobody loved me or would ever love me "Ellen" jumped in my lap. Then I knew there was someone that cared & loved me. So what it was a cat. She needed me to feed her & to take care of her. She loved me. She needed me. Her jumping on my lap at that moment saved me from feeling too sorry for myself. Right then I knew for some reason thought and knew nobody could ever love or take care of her like I would.

Now about 2 months ago "Ellen" started losing weight. I put her on medication but sadly today as I was going to work I found her dead. She was outside. Covered in flies. She was alive just a few hours before. The night before she ate a whole can of cat food. She slept the night before on my big chair.

I felt so bad because I wasn't there when she died. I know this sounds like Diane Chambers here (From Cheers The Tv Show) but"Ellen" saved my life. She needed me as much as I needed her. She became my 100% focus when I got sober. ( I was a drinker)

On July 25 , 2008 I lost her. I had her for 11 years. Everyday I had her was joy. She may have had an accident here and there but oh well. When hurricane Katrina hit she was about the only thing I had left. When we evacuated we saved our pets and nothing else. I am not sorry for saving my cats life. She was worth saving.

The pain I am going through now was worth the 11 years that I had her. I will never have another cat like her. She was special. She was my baby. I miss my Ellen.

GILDA LIVE GILDA RADNER LIVE DVD

I was so happy when I got this DVD. "Gilda Live" is Gilda Radner doing her characters she made famous (on Saturday Night Live) in a one woman show format.

All though this was made close to 30 years ago the material still works and sadly its a reminder of great talent that was lost too soon.

If you want a DVD let me know. stan39520@yahoo.com

SIX FLAGS NEW ORLEANS 6 FLAGS MY NEW JOB

Sometime next month I will start working at the old Six Flags Park in New Orleans. I am leaving my current job at "The Silver Slipper" once I get a confirm starting date for the park!

In case you didn't know: Hurricane Katrina did a number on the park. I will be working for a company that will oversee the rebuilding of the park.

JAWS WHERE IS THE SHARK IS STILL WORKING

For years a film maker/Jaws fan has been working on a documentary on "JAWS". His documentary is called "The Shark is Still Working". Well if you go in his web page http://www.sharkisstillworking.com/ you can see all the work that is going into this documentary. This however brings me to the movie itself "JAWS".

"Jaws" is a great movie memory for me. This was the only time in my childhood that we went back to see a movie again. (We went 3 times). "Jaws" still effects me today.

To this day every time I see the ocean (and I do almost everyday) I hear the "JAWS THEME".

Now Jaws did not make me afraid to go in the water ( I grew up In a Oxnard) it did make me think twice about going in.

Now because "Jaws" is a Summer movie I still kick of my Summer with a showing of the movie!

This year I haven't done it. I have no time but this weekend maybe my Summer will begin.

Estelle Getty The Bitch is Dead: Did the Devil call her home

In 1993 I met Estelle Getty at a Las Vegas video convention. She was their to promote her senior citizen work out video. At the video convention were people who owned or ran video stores. Celebrities were their to promote their project to video store owners. They sat in a both to sign autographs. I was fan of "The Golden Girls". I waited in her line for minutes. I was about to tell her that I was happy that she was going to be on "Empty Nest" but before I could

she was telling me "to leave & goodbye" I was at her booth for no more then 6 seconds. All her pictures were pre signed. That was okay but she was rude and nasty to everyone. BECAUSE OF HER RUDENESS the record store chain Music plus did not carry her tape.

Now I have talked to people who have seen Estelle at their job (Ralphs, Albertsons) and they both said she was beyond rude. It was not just me.
UPDATE

In the USA TODAY Newspaper dated 7/23/2008 it has a story about Estelle. Read between lines of her co-stars. They never say "Estelle was fun to work with". They only say Sophia was funny. Also in the same article Estelle sounds like she hated being a mother.

Wall E Review By Stan Heck

I will be very honest here. I did not like the last 2 PIXAR Animation movies which were "Ratatouille" & "Cars". In fact I found them both boring. "Wall-E" on the other hand I loved the first hour. Once "Wall-E" left earth I found the movie only so-so. (Spoiler) I did love the fact that PIXAR has noticed that most people in real life in those scooter chairs are just fat & lazy.

Now I am the lone voice in not loving this movie. So you might think I am nuts for not loving this movie. The movie is great family entertainment however I think if your not a fan of TOONS you will be bored out of your mind.

Snow White and & The 7 Seven Dwarfs Disney Review By Stan Heck

I am going over old Laserdisc collection of my Disney Movies. Now even though I sold off my DVD set of "Snow White" for $100 on e-bay I still missed having that set. However I still kept my laserdisc of the movie. Well today after more then 5 years after I last saw it I was hoping my laserdisc would still work and I prayed that the picture would be like the DVD. Well I had nothing to worry about! The Picture was so good to me it was just as good as the DVD picture.

Now for the movie itself what can I say but "Magic". The movie is over 70 years old and its still one of the best movies ever made. Not just animation but live action as well.

Now I know in 2012 Disney will more then likely release on DVD again however I can wait. My laserdisc is great and I am happy that I got it!

HALLOWEEN 30TH ANNIVERSARY DVD DON'T BUY IT

HALLOWEEN 30TH ANNIVERSARY DVD DON'T BUY IT

The reason why is simple, for a huge anniversary this DVD set smells of a rush job. You will be getting NOTHING new. Yes A Blue-Ray DVD but so what? There is the extended version however that has been out of print for years however so what? Here is what is included let me remind you that this set is selling for $90.

Anchor Bay has revealed early details on Halloween: The 30th Anniversary Commemorative Set. The 6-disc package will include the original 1978 film, the extended edition which has been out of print for several years, Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers, Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers, a Halloween 25 Years of Terror documentary with cast and crew, and a bonus Blu-ray release of Halloween. On top of all that, the collectible set will include a replica of the Michael Myers mask. Retail will be $89.97. We've attached a trade advertisement containing the official package artwork below:

Now this just a repackage job. Anchor Bay is just throwing in a mask. There is nothing new in terms of extras. It would of been nice if Anchor Bay was releasing the found footage that had the original ending (Michael Dies) The original call where Laurie gets the phone call from Annie.

They also could of had PJ Soles and Jamie Lee Curtis do an audio commentary. Also Why not dig up Kyle Richards  Brian Andrews for an on camera interview as well?

Also they could of interviewed the people that now run business's out of the original Myers House. Why not interview the people that live in the houses now that Laurie and Annie were babysitting in?

Christie Brinkley needs a shrink because of her taste in men

Christie Brinkley needs a shrink because of her taste in men?

Well no kidding. Did she really need a court to tell her this. I could of told her this years ago when she married husband #3. I am saying this because her first husband was I believe was a race car driver (dangerous) Second Husband was Billie Joel (Need I say more) Third husband Richard Taubman was a developer who went bankrupt and then let his son be adopted by Christie's Fourth husband (sex addict ) Peter Cook.

THe following is from http://www.usatoday.com/

CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. — A court-appointed psychiatrist sized up Christie Brinkley's ill-fated fourth marriage Tuesday, saying the model needs to examine her taste in men and her cheating husband is a narcissist with a bottomless ego.
But between them, Brinkley should get custody of their two children, Dr. Stephen Herman said at their divorce trial.
Herman's testimony added a dispassionate, but intimate viewpoint to a case piled high with dirty laundry. Brinkley's estranged husband, architect Peter Cook, has admitted having an affair with a teenager who worked in his office and spending thousands of dollars on Internet pornography.
Herman had harsh words for Cook in a report for the court, saying the architect had an insatiable ego and "needs constant reassurance that he is a terrific guy."
But Brinkley "needs to start working on deeper issues" — including "her choice of male figures," Herman said under questioning by the children's attorney, Theresa Mari. He said the former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model needs therapy as "an outlet for her anger and feeling of betrayal" by her unfaithful husband. Herman called for therapy for Cook, too.

Brinkley was cool to the idea.
"I'm not sure I'm a huge fan of psychotherapy. I believe there are other ways to deal with this," she testified later. But she added that she "would do whatever it takes to convince the court" to grant her custody of the children, 10 and 13.
The psychiatrist, who met with the family 11 times, said that shared custody "is not at all a viable option."

PATTI GLENN BETTY FOOTAGE WANTED FOR A SUNSET BLVD BOULEVARD DVD

Okay I am having a little problem with some footage that I have from various sources. I would like a cleaner more in focus footage of the car chase. I can use the original movie footage from the 1950 film but I am trying to "exclude" as much of that as I can. As it stands now I have 13 minutes of the original movie that has been reincorporated into my musical presentation.

For right now I have footage from several productions. Which is great but where the sound is poor I am using the soundtrack from the Original Broadway Recording that features Glenn Close. I am luck to have almost 1 hour of professional shot footage that I can use. This is footage that is not hard to find but it was footage never released to the public!

The footage came from a Musical highlight reel & a documentary of the play! In all I am very happy with what I have done so far. If anybody wants to help me with the project let me know at stan39520@yahoo.com

I don't care who is in your footage. It doesn't even need to be in English. I just want a great DVD. Anybody who sends me A DVD will get 2 Free DVDs of the complete presentation once the DVD is Done.
