I am so ? Hurricane Katrina took my home 3 years ago. I lost everything but my pets. I am glad I saved them. I have no children so my dogs & cats are my children. Since Katrina I lost 1 of my dogs. I also lost my cat "Ellen". In May I lost my Grandmother. In July I lost Ellen. In August I am going to lose my home again. Why me? Now my home isn't a home its a Fema Cottage. However I will lose my safe place.

I will have to re-buy everything yet again. On August 29th I did celebrate my 11th year of being sober. That has not changed. What has change that I no longer want to live in Bay St Louis MS or anywhere where a hurricane will get me. I want to live in a desert so I will end up in Nevada. I will arrive there with nothing. No job and broke. At 41 this is hard because I know of all the red tape I will have to go through yet again. I am still dealing with red tape from Katrina.

I do not know what to do. I can cry but I won't. I have to move forward but how? I have been putting one foot in front of another for 3 years. It looks like I have another 3-4 years now of doing one foot in front of another! I am tired of this walk! I have worn out lots of shoes. I can't afford any more shoes.

Ellen My Cat

Well I am getting better now. I will forever miss this cat. The pain has eased but there will always be a place for her in my heart. I still think of her everyday. I buried her in my yard and so I walk by her grave 2-4 times a day. That is hard but I don't cry anymore. That cat will always be special to me. She saved my life. She did.

I just saw this movie and it is great. Everything you herd is true! The writers and actors and all people involved in this movie should be proud. Its an instant classic that should not be missed!

'29th and Gay' is the movie for the gay everyman. Following a year in the life of James Sanchez, it's a story about a guy rapidly approaching thirty, who doesn't have a six-pack, full head of hair or a boyfriend. While his best friend Roxy, an actress-turned-activist, struggles with showing him there's life beyond the glitz of the disco ball, his other friend, Brandon, one of those gay boys comfortable in his own gay skin, works on getting James to at least talk to a boy. Feeling out of place in the world of circuit boys, caught between his Hispanic-American heritage and being gay, we watch James find his place in the world, realizing that life is in the journey, not the destination.

Now I loved this movie. Its just great. I can not say enough good things about this movie!

Has Meryl Streep won the Norma Desmond Crown for Sunset Blvd Movie

"Mama Mia" is close to taking in $100,000,000 at the USA box office alone. The movie has establish Ms Streep as a musical star. In fact the role of Norma Desmond is now almost certainly to go to Meryl Streep. Meryl has wanted the part for years. In fact she was rumored to want perform it on Broadway. However the role went to Glenn Close.

Now I think Glenn Close should do the movie. She was excellent. I am sure the studio wants Meryl Streep or Barbra Streisand. However both of these women are good friends with Glenn Close. So I can't imagine either one of them snatching the role away from Glenn Close however that doesn't mean they won't.

MAMA MIA REVIEW STAN HECK

Alright folks I am a huge ABBA fan. I love their music and always have. I saw the play "Mama Mia" with my very good friend Carla Ashby around 2000 or 2001. I loved the play. A few years later Carla and I went and saw it again.

The first time I saw the play I thought Christine Baranski should play Donna's friend Tanya. The funny thing is the woman in the play looked like Christine and sure enough Christine got the part in the movie. I must say she did a great job. And for the record Meryl was fine too I can not say the same thing about Pierce Brosnan he was only okay.

Now I always thought John Travolta and Olivia Newton John should of been cast in this movie. However they weren't. I think John Travolta should of been cast. He can sing much better then Pierce Brosnan.

Now I enjoyed the movie. I thought it was going to be an overblown production but I am glad I was wrong. The movie is well worth seeing. If your an ABBA fan then you must see it.
