Now out of the top 5 movies 4 were sequels. The only movie that wasn't was "Tramnsformers" and that was based on cartoons or a comic book! Loook for a sequel in 2 or 3 years.

The other 4 movies in the top 5 were sequels! It was the third time around out for "Shrek" "Pirates" & "Spiderman". "Harry Potter" is #5.

The rest of of the top 10 the 2 of those were sequels or based ona TV show. So what does this mean to us the paying public? Lots of more sequels and remakes. The sequels make money. Sad. Of all the sequels I saw this Summer only "Bourne" & "Oceans" were worth watching.
