NBC SHOULD BRING BACK DESIGNING WOMEN

NBC has tried 3 times to bring back shows from the dead. Last year NBC has brought back "Knight Rider", & "The Bionic Woman". This year its "Parenthood".

ABC this year is bringing back the 1980's cult show "V". In the past they brought back "Fantasy Island" , & "Cupid".

CBS also brought back "Grapevine". The CW had success in bringing back "90210" that its now bringing back "Melrose Place". So hey NBC why not bring back "Designing Women".

NBC if you decide to bring back our ladies from ATLANTA you must remember why THE CW had success with the new version of "90210" and why NBC your attempts at other TV revamps failed. The reason is simple. The new "90210" did not ignore the original. It embraced it and brought in as guest the stars of the older version.

So in a nutshell bringing back "Designing Women" is a brilliant move if you decide to do it. The show will get a good demographic (women 18-49) and supply NBC with a hit show however you need to do this:

1) The original cast will all be back not just guest stars but as "THE STARS OF THE SHOW".

2) You must bring back the creator Linda Bloodsworth Thomason she knows those characters and "Designing Women" is a show that needs someone like Linda.

3) Bring back Pam Norris. She wrote great episodes but she needs to be watched closely by Linda!

4) If you want a younger cast then please put them in supporting roles..
By the way Jay Leno's 10:00 pm show sucks!
