MOVIES ARE NOW 20 MINUTES LONGER THEN THEY WERE IN 1990

Here is a list of films that should of had been edited down,  Notice I how I left this list "Shorter" or "Edited Down" Take the Hint Hollywood

"HANNIBAL"
"PRINCE OF THIEVES"
"PRINCE OF TIDES"
"THE MIRROR HAS 2 FACES"
"RENT" (love the movie but 10 minutes should of been cut)
"MAGNOLIA"
"MEET JOE BLACK"
"EYES WIDE SHUT"
"ARMAGEDDON"
"PATRIOT GAMES"
"SCENT OF A WOMAN"
"MRS DOUBTFIRE"
"PELICAN BRIEF"
"TRUE LIES"
"FORREST GUMP"
"THE PAPER"
"APOLLO 13"
"HEAT"
"INDEPENDENCE DAY"
"RUNAWAY BRIDE"
"HARRY POTTER"
"PEARL HARBOR"
"CATCH ME IF YOU CAN"
"Road to Perdition"
"War of the Worlds"
"King Kong"
"Wedding Crashers"
"The Da Vinci Code"
"Contact"
"KING KONG"
All of the listed movies I have watched at the movies. All of them could of been cut by 10 minutes or more! Movies should not bore people. Directors seem to forget "No matter what if a scene does not advance the plot then the scene is not needed".

Most movies never need to be over 2 hours. IF a director wants a longer version of the movie then the studio should release that version on DVD.

When a film is longer then 2 hours I get antsy!    If Hollywood insist on a film that is over 2 hours then give us a 10 minute intermission. I think Hollywood forgets people get bored fast and need to pee every 2 hours!
