Are you ready for a return to "Walton's Mountain"? Revival is rumored to be on the drawing boards

Everything old is new again.  With the success of "Dallas" Warner Brothers Television is looking  through their vast television library to see what else could have potential built audience awareness one title that gets mentioned many times is "The Walton's".    

With a built in name recognition the first episode would generate major interest but many things still need to be worked on.  Still early in the development is "How do we approach a new show"?   

1)  Include former cast members

2)  Make it a period piece or set it in contemporary times?

3)  Would this be something for the CW TNT TBS OR EVEN CBS?

More questions are still being asked but one this is certain  "The Original Show" is beloved by millions of people.  Reviving it is going to be tricky to please them and to generate new fans.   

I think however I will pass on this show.  I wasn't a fan of the original.  Frankly I hated the Grandma.
