3 Movies to See Available on DVD

Well did you see the AFI 100 years 100 movies special last night. Well your not alone. In fact don't get me started about "Ragging Bull". It came in at #5 and "Gone With the Wind" came in at #6. Hell no. However I will do another post about that list later on. However I am going to let you in on 3 movies that are worth seeing. Again this is my weekly list and all movies should be at your local Blockbuster. If worse comes to worse remember these movies are worth buying as well.

My first DVD I recommend watching is the original "HALLOWEEN". If you hate scary movies because the blood then your missing out. "Halloween" is not a bloodbath. It has very little blood. It is however a movie that spawned countless sequels and imitators it also made Jamie Lee Curtis a star. Do yourself a favor See this movie.

#2 For the week Is Bloody but it is scary as well. I admit its a little stupid but its a lot of fun as well. That movie in 1980's "Prom Night". It also stars Jamie Lee Curtis. I don't want to give the story away but it is a little bloody however not as much as a "Friday the 13th Movie".

#3 For the week is a comedy. The movie is "SOAPDISH". Its very funny. Lots of fun and has an all star cast. If you haven't seen this movie check it out. You will laugh.

Will I see my dog again if there is a heaven?

Will I see my dog again if there is a heaven? Well make that will I see my dogs again if there is a heaven. I am 40 years old now. Losing a dog at 40 is just as hard as when you were 12. As I get older I question the after life more and more. I have done this since I was 9 years old. What came to me was "If everybody is good in heaven" then where's the fun?

Well here it is 30 years later and here I am. I lost Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles, and two close friends to name a very few. Now Steve & I are child free. Our animals are our children. We have lots of children. We have 3 dogs & 5 cats. I came into our relationship with my cat Ellen. Steve came to the relationship with his dog Lucy. This was a little over 9 years ago. Now

Lucy was Steve's Dog. However Lucy became our dog. Lucy was part pit bull & part Sherpa . However she was was 100% love. Now she wasn't much to look at but she was a loyal dog.

Today we had to put her asleep. Its hard to think that she is no longer guarding the house. She is gone. So I hope one day I will see her again. If there is a heaven I want to be able to see my beloved animals that I lost in my lifetime. I miss all of them. Yes another cat or dog helps with the hurt but if there is a heaven...............

POLTERGEIST THE MISSING MOVIE?

POLTERGEIST THE MISSING MOVIE?

How can that be right? A missing movie. Well it did happen. In 1988 MGM released "Poltergeist 3" shortly after the star Heather O'Rourke died. Parts of the movie were drooped (various reasons) but the biggest controversy is that the ending was re-shot after Heather died.

The missing movie is that P# could of been a better movie if they didn't cut the movie the way that they did. There is still a great movie to be made from all the deleted footage. All we have now is a "work in Progress".

On the web page http:poltergeistiii.com has all the details about the movie. What I found interesting is that after all these years MGM still avoids talking about the movie. Now granted that the people that were in charge at the studio are most likely gone now but still the "Poltergeist" sequels generate huge sales each year for MGM so come-on spill it.

It was also reported on poltergeistiii.com that over 100 boxes of footage was found at MGM. The studio said they don't have the time or the money to go through it. Well hell I 'll go through it. For Free!

Terry Semel resigns from Yahoo could he be returning to Movies

Terry Semel is leaving his job at Yahoo but he staying on in a non-executive chairman. I am willing to bet that he is returning to making movies again. He was at Warner Brothers for years.

Terry Semel can write his own ticket in Hollywood. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends at Universal or Warner Brothers with a production deal.

If he does return welcome back Terry. The movies need you!

TOM CRUISE & KATIE HOLMES LOOKING STUPID

Okay every time there is a report on Tom Cruise (on any show) they show footage of him & Katie on a motorcycle wearing sun glasses BUT NOT A HELMET. That makes them look stupid. (YOU HAVE KIDS SET AN EXAMPLE)

I am so sick of these two. I must admit I was the first to slam Tom Cruise for his lack of acting ability. I didn't see the big deal was with him. I didn't like "Risky Business", "Top Gun" or "Cocktail".

Now about Katie Holmes. I have no reason to dislike her but anybody married to him isn't exactly the smartest person in the world. She also is copying that Spice Girls look. I wonder if that includes an eating disorder as well.

OUT GAY ACTORS MITCHELL ANDERSON & MARK PATTON NO LONGER GET WORK IS TR KNIGHT NEXT?

The gay community had reason to celebrate when Mitchell Anderson cam out. Hit was on the hit show "Party of Five" at the time. He was also playing a gay character on the show. His career seem to be on a sky rocket at the time. After he came out however he seemed to disappear and retire from Hollywood. The last thing I herd about him was that he owned and ran a restaurant in Atlanta.

Next is Mark Patton (Elm Street). According to the Elms St DVD he is gay. However because he is openly gay as well as Mitchell Anderson did this cause them both to lose work. Mark is a very talented man. There is no reason why he shouldn't be working

This got me to think is TR Knight going to be retired from Hollywood once "Grey's Anatomy" goes off the air?

This got me to think if I was casting a movie what would I cast Mark in today. Well any of the 3 male leads in the upcoming MAMA MIA movie he would be great in.

Mitchell Anderson would be great as a investigator on any "Law and Order" or " CSI" show.

TR KNIGHT I herd is wonderful in the upcoming "The Last Request". I just hope TR Knight isn't forced to retire from Hollywood.
