DELETED FOOTAGE Twin Peaks Fire Walk with Me

Twin Peaks made is TV debut in 1990. The show lasted a total of 2 season for a total of 29 episodes.

A year after the show was cancelled David Lynch made "TP:FWWM". Rumor had it that the original cut was over 3 hours. When the movie was released it was just a little over 2 hours.

Now what was cut out is just specaution. Rumors again say it was mostly cameos from the cast of the TV show. Chances are however they were cut out for various reasons. I know lots of this footage that wa cut was unscripted material.

Now "Twin Peaks Fire walk Me" needs a special edition DVD release. Complete with deleted scenes. Twin Peaks is a classic TV show and the movie as well. The show has millions of fans and its base continues to grow. SO New Line pay the bucks to get the rights to release the deleted footage on DVD.

If New Line was smart they give the owners of the deleted $1 for each dvd that is sold for the first year. Then on the 2nd year of its release cut it to .75 cents. Then year 3 of its release .5o cents. 4th Year knock it down to just .25 cents.

Also New Line could produce a TV special about Twin Peaks. They could then debut a few of the deleted footage on that TV. This would get the fans excited and ready to buy.

IS there a JAWS 5 in the works?

Steven Spielberg has been quoted saying "He wishes that he was involved with Jaws 2 because the public seems to think that he was". Well since another Spielberg movie ( "Indiana Jones") has proven to be very popular (& years after the last installment) its not out of the question that Universal might be considering another "Jaws" movie. If so maybe Steven will be involved with it.? If he is I wouldn't be surprised that Universal would act like the last 2 movies did not exist if they do make another JAWS movie. This is the same thing that another studio did. The makers of HALLOWEEN H20 ignored anything that happened in Halloween 3 to Halloween 6.

I would love to see "JAWS 5" be called "Jaws: The terror returns"

THE DARK KNIGHT

Not a review. I have not watched it yet. I am only writing because the news the movie is generating. It has broke lots of box office records. All I can say is good for everyone involved with this movie.

Just remember Heath Ledger did not do this by himself. We need to give credit to all the actors in this movie.

Ellen Day 3 I still miss my cat

I am going on a trip in the morning. This was planned weeks ago. I am glad I was around when Ellen passed. It kills me though that she is no longer here to greet me when I Wake up in the morning or when I get home from work. She had a faint "meow". She only did this to me.

I know I sound crazy but that cat was the most consistent thing in my life.

Ellen Day 2

On July 26 I buried my beloved cat Ellen. Every time I think of my cat I get a pit in my stomach. I miss my girl.

Its now (almost) 5 years later.  I still think of her often.  She was only about  6 months old when I got sober.
I adopted her because I was just "COMING OUT" and it was a terrifying ordeal for me to come out.  I thought once I came out nobody love but I would still have "ellen"..  Well "ellen" was a one person cat.  She loved me.  She didn't care I was gay or straight. fat or thin.  She was with from 1997 to 2008.  We moved from Northridge to New Orleans to Bay St Louis MS.  She is buried on our property there.  I still think her little soul is still there guarding the home from mice!

Ordeal of Patty Hearst Review DVD By Stan Heck

This 1979 TVM is a by the numbers. Its interesting. The cast does a respectful job but as a viewer you get kind of mad when the last Denis Weaver comes on screen because the story of his relationship with his daughter is not needed in this movie.

Guerrilla The Taking of Patty Hearst The Rise and Fall of the SLA

I was born in 1967. The Patty Hearst Kidnapping is the first major news story that I remember. To this today when if I hear that Patty Hearst is giving an interview I will watch it.

There have been 2 movies made about Patty Hearst. A TV MOVIE "The Ordeal of Patty Hearst" and the 1988 Theatrical "Patty Hearst" which was based on the book "Every Secret Thing" written by Patty Hearst.

However if you want a complete story I highly recommend "Guerrilla: The Taking of Patty Hearst". This documentary is great to those who grew up in the 1970's and remember the story.
