REMAKE PRIVATE BENJAMIN? Yes this is most likely Goldie Hawns most famous role. The movie is great. In fact Goldie Hawn wan Nominated for an Oscar for the movie! Also nominated was Eileen Brennan.
Now all movies that are 20 years old are now subject for a remake. "PRIVATE BENJAMIN" was made and released in 1980. The movie was so well made that it still holds up today so why remake it right? Good question. The movie isn't well know to anybody under 35! Females between 10-30 are a huge movie audience! Also PB is not a perfect movie. It drags from time to time. Also this would be a great showcase for Reece Witherspoon. Also it would be great to see a bunch of young actress getting together to make this movie. A fact to really consider is that it is a comedy. Its not a movie that requires $100,000,000 to make! An updated version of PB has a great chance of being a hit!
