Katherine Heigl is crazy

Katherine Heigl made news today. She won an Emmy Award last year for her work in the TV show "Grey's Anatomy". She sated today that she didn't even want to be nominated this year because "The Writers failed" to deliver a Good scripts. All I can say "Bite me bitch".

She attacked the writers. That's was stupid. If writing was easy then everybody would do it. Now she should of said "I don't want to be considered for an Emmy". "I think once you won the Award you should not be able to win again for playing the same role again in the same category". "thank you however for thinking of me".

I hope next year that the "Grey's Anatomy" writers give her lines that are just 1 or 2 words. I know I wouldn't beef up her part. She should of been happy that she is now a major Actress. She will now be seen as a major Hollywood Pain in the Ass. And that's not good. She should now brace herself for a bad year on the set.

She will have nobody to blame but herself.

Nicole Kidman in TO DIE FOR Review by Stan Heck

Nicole Kidman gives a perfect performance in this movie. This is the best Acting Nicole has ever had. The movie is somewhat based on on famous New Hampshire teacher who got one of her students to kill her husband.

Buck Henry wrote one hell of a screenplay. The movie is very clever and holds your attention from the first second to the very last. *** Stars

GAY "CRUISING" Review by Stan Heck

The controversial movie finally made it to DVD last year. I never saw the movie and I never had an interest to watch it. I saw a clip of "Cruising" in the great movie documentary "The Celluloid Closet" and then I got interested.

This movie features the murders of gay men who were last seen in the Gay leather bars in New York City. A straight detective is assigned to solve the murders. In order to solve the case he must live as a gay man in a gay neighborhood.

Now the murders are very graphic. The movie is hard to watch. The gay community was upset. Gay Men and Lesbians had every right to be mad. It makes every gay man in this movie seem so what deserving of their death. I do not think this was the film makers intention however that how it comes across.
Another thing happened to gay men once this movie was released. "Hate crimes" this movie was just to hard to watch Gay men were in fact were beat up after straight men watched this movie!

Now all these years later the movie does seem dated . In fact it was made before anybody had herd of AIDS. The movie does hold your interest. It is a well told mystery. Yes it takes place in the gay leather bars however in real life the gay leather bars is a very small segment of the gay community! Again The movie is very graphic. All these years later I think the movie if it were made today would still spark controversy. If your a fan of 1970's movies then see this movie.

Watermelon Man Review by Stan Heck

Watermelon Man is a 1970 film directed by Melvin Van Peebles. The movie was distributed by Columbia Pictures Corporation. It tells the story of a typical 1960s, somewhat bigoted white insurance salesman named Jeff Gerber who wakes up one morning to find that he has become black.

The movie has dated however its still one funny movie. Yes the title isn't PC however if you get beyond the the title you will laugh.

The movie has themes that still ring all so true today. You will laugh and most of all you will think, "Why am I laughing"?

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom Review by Stan Heck

Now I am a huge fan of "Indiana Jones". I love the first one. I thought the second was OK and the third was very good. Now here is the fourth and its better then the second one however so is root canal.

There is several minutes of this movie that I liked or loved. However I thought te story was too thin and the ending was beyond stupid. If this was the best Steven and George could come up with then I beg them not to make another. This movie gets ** only because I like a few moments.

REVIEW BY STAN HECK SEX AND THE CITY MOVIE

I must confess I have been waiting for this movie for years. Ever since the show ended I have missed these ladies. To me the movie event of the Summer was not "Indiana Jones" but "Sex and the City".

Now this movie had tons of press. It also had to compete not only with "Indiana Jones" but the ghost of its own self. Lets face it the the TV SHOW of "Sex and The City" was brilliant. A movie version of the show had be not just good but GREAT. Well the movie to me wasn't great but it was very good. The plot was so-so but I love these ladies and I loved this movie. The only sad part was that I wish I was able to see this with some girlfriends. I saw it with my writer boyfriend and he hated it. Well now he knows how it felt to me to sit through the last 45 minutes of "Indiana Jones".

Now you don't need to be familiar with the show of SEX AND THE CITY but it does help. The movie gets *** stars. I can't wait til the next one. This time I will go with girlfriends!
