All the Gay People today owe a big thank you to Ann Heche as well as Ellen Degenres

This was one of the first major gay couples in the USA.  Ann Heeche and Ellen Degeneres were a famous couple.  They also were pioneers.  Wherever they went they held hands and were not afraid to show affection in public.  They were each others cheerleaders and refereed to each other as their wives.

The relationship lasted only about 3 1/2 years however these ladies put gay couples on the map and to show the world that "GAY PEOPLE ARE NORMAL".

Now say what you want about Ann Heche but after she did break up "ellen" ( and yes went on to get married to a man) she was still an advocate for gay rights. She wasn't as vocal but she did go to the press after her mom became a spokes idiot for the anti gay group "Love Won Out".    Anne was still a cheerleader for the LGBT community.  We still owe her are gratitude.  I will always wish Anne well!   She is still a pioneer!
