THE "PSYCHO REMAKE" WAS REALLY A REMAKE OF THE TELEVISION CUT

Before I ever bought the original "Psycho" on vhs (Remember those)  I had a vhs that I recorded from at television Broadcast.  I saw that film about 10 times and new the television edition backwards and forwards.

Now in 1998 when the remake was released was laughing because I realized that Gus Van Sant remade the television cut.  All the scenes that were "Edited For Time" from the 1960 version  were now edited out of the remake.    I guess Gus Van Sant Never saw an unedited version of the "Hitchcock" classic!
