YENTL A GREAT FILM AND BARBRA STREISAND HAS EVERY RIGHT TO BE PROUD OF THE FILM

This film was Barbra Streisand baby and it was a major undertaking.   She was criticized from the moment the film was announced and she was hounded daily in the press during every aspect of production of the film.

Now the film deserved to be Nominated for all the Big awards but it was ignored.  That was a huge mistake.  Watch this film now.  It maybe a tad too long however it is an excellently made film.  It is a great achievement.   Sad however that this was the last musical Barbra has done.  Rumors come up all the time that she will be in another Version of "gypsy" but again that is a rumor..
