Lionel Ritchie A living American Icon

American Legend Lionel Ritchie was a huge presence on the radio in the 1980's.  I loved his songs however I was sick of his hits before they peaked because the radio station I listen to Q-105 in Oxnard Ca would play his latest single every hour!  

Lionel however is still however the tops when it comes to Singing-Song Writers.  His songs that were released over 20 years ago are still "Wedding Reception Staples".  Try to go to a wedding where "Endless Love" is not a part of the service.  "All Night Long" is still played at a reception as well as "Lady". Yes Kenn Rodgers sis song it but Lionel wrote it!

I still one day hope to catch him in concert.
