I saw this film when it was released in 1985. I was a huge Madonna fan and critics were raving about Madonna's acting in this film. When I saw the film I could tell she was just playing herself. For her film work however these were going to be the best reviews Madonna would ever have for "Acting". "Evita" she was great in however she never spoke she just sang.
