Grover Crisp and Sony Restore "Annie" the last big Musical by Legenday Producer Ray Stark

Not a perfect movie however not a  Box Office Bomb.  "Grease II" released weeks after "Annie" as a bomb.  Funny people don't remember that there was a "Grease II".

 Now t"Annie" wasn't the Box Office Hit Columbia was hoping for however the films Box Office Returns were doomed once Universal Pictures Released ET and that film got all the presses attention.and family movie dollars!  Everyone wanted to see ET.  "Annie" however would of been  better suited fora Christmas release!


Now what is the mystery is why hasn't the original TV special "Lights Camera Annie" been found by Columbia/Sony and why hasn't Sony released a Special edition of "Annie" on DVD that would include the original "Easy Street" sequence as an extra?

Grover Crisp work your magic here. This film was made with Ray Stark. It was the last big film he did.  This film is still an evergreen title.  I think almost every girl born since 1982 has seen this film!


I think a proper restoration of this film is in order here.. I am sure this would sell more Blu-Rays then "Taxi Driver"
