HALLOWEEN H20 NEEDS A SPECIAL EDITION DVD RELEASE

After 17 years Jamie Lee Curtis returned to play her most famous role Laurie Strode in "Halloween H20".  She welcomed back to the series with open arm from fans wanting to see her again as Laurie Strode.  After the disastrous box office performance of "Halloween 5" and "Halloween 6"  the producers were delighted when Jamie Lee Curtis approached them about a reunion film.

In case you didn't know "Halloween H20" acts like "Halloween 4-6" Never happened.  In this story's universe that world doesn't exist.  I think that was a wise thing too do.   The film was a late Summer Box Office Draw and it got the best reviews since the original!

When a DVD was released it we were promised a directors commentary.  That didn't happen and still hasn't happened.  Later when this was show on Television there were scenes that were extended , re-arranged and it had some never before scene footage.  It reminded me of the Television Cut of "Halloween II".

Now "Halloween" fans are exceptional group and so are the people that have been involved in the production of each movie.  I am sure Jamie Lee Curtis and Michelle Williams would so an all new interview for a Special Edition DVD.  I think Jamie Lee Curtis would do a great audio commentary for the film but I hope they would include a Director's Commentary as well.

The Last Company that I checked with that holds the Home Video rights is Echo Bridge.  They are nortious for releasing  DVD's and Blu-rays without any special features.  Lets hope with the success that SCREAM FACTORY had with their "Halloween II" and "Hallowenn III" Blu-Ray releases that Echo Bridge Might come to some agreement with Scream Factory and the fans will get a Special Edition that they deserve,
