The 1980 Film Prom Night Needs a Major Restoration

I have seen about 3 dvd's of theis film and none of them have a decent picture.  I think VHS has a better picture so it has come to my attention that the film not only needs to be remastered for a future re-issue on DVD it most likely needs a MAJOR RESTORATION.

"Prom Night" is not a candidate for such restoration because it is not an American Film and it was not made by the major studios.  The people that made this film most likely don't have the money to restore it.  That's too bad.  The film is "GOO" and maybe not an original idea the film succeeds in scaring you.

It would be a shame if this becomes a lost film!
