I was living in California at the time of this case. I grew up in Oxnard. Ca. I remember hearing about this case and how the school kids were kidnapped. For years I even thought that these kids were buried in the school bus! The kidnapping is still a vivid part of California history.
Now its been 31 years since the crime accrued. The kidnappers were all in there 20's at the time. They have been in prison longer than they have been alive!
They have been up for parole but have been turned down! Now the question is" "Do they deserve Parole"?
Well in my opinion is "HELL NO". It is a miracle that these children and bus driver lived! I think we should ask these survivors if the kidnappers should get out.
As I see it the 3 men Frederick Woods, and two friends, Richard and James Schoenfeld, were found guilty and sentenced to life in prison. They were adults when they did the crime they should do the time! They were lucky the children and bus driver survived.
If one of these victims have died they would never be up for parole!
