Cheers Would it be made today ?

"Cheers" had a very successful run on NBC for 11 Seasons.  After a ratings challenge first season the show started growing an audience during its 2nd season   When the 3rd season started it came on the same night as "The Cosby Show" and "Cheers" found itself a nice place in the top 5 shows for the its remaining run.


With "Cheers" being one of the best show ever on Television one has to wonder if the show was being pitched today would it find a home on Network Television?   Chance's are it wouldn't.
