This would of been great had Ron Howard had the balls to say to the studio "NO". This film suffers because you can hear the studio interference while watching any scene with Renee Zellweger. Most of her scenes should of been cut. You can tell those scenes were shoehorned into to the screenplay! Most likely these scenes would of been cut but you can see the DVD cover above and seeand how the studio marketed this movie. Look at this cover they make it look like a love story so they can market the movie to women.
This film would of been a bigger hit had Ron Howard cut Renee's scenes down or completely out! MOst every scene she is in is not needed to advance the story! That is bad film making!
