REMAKES OF JOHN CARPENTER FILM DON'T WORK BECAUSE

"Escape From New York" is still rumored to be getting the remake treatment.  I beg Hollywood not to do this!  The previous Carpenter movies that have been made have been terrible.  JOhn Carpenter has always been a great film maker!  His has written or co-written every film he has directed.  The problem is when Hollywood remakes a John Carpenter film they are made by people who are far less talented then John Carpenter.

Hollywood has thrown big bucks at remakes of JOhn Carpenter films however the results speak for themselves!
