In 1982 "Superman the Movie" was shown on Television with (until then) never before scene footage. Now this was about 40 minutes of material. Some of this footage was re-inserted into the film again by the films director "Richard Donner". Now at one time Warner Brothers did not own the rights to any of the deleted footage. Not too long ago Warner Brother finally did make a deal with the films owner and now have in their possession all of the footage. Now "Superman Fans" would love to to see the TV Version of this film released but Richard Donner will not allow that however I don't think he would have a problem with Warner Brothers releasing all the deleted scenes on released as Special Feature on a DVD however he will not allow Warner Brothers to reinsert the footage into the film
Warner Brothers however has released some of this footage on DVD but fans would love to see all of it. That includes me. How about You?
