Hard to believe I had to wait 7 years to December 1978 see the film again when Disney re-issued the film! I remember seeing it again 2 more times.
It was re-issued again in December of 1984 and I was probably the only teenager at school waiting to see this film. I didn't care. The film to me was (and still is perfect).
Now I could not believe that in Summer of 1985 Disney issued the film on VHS. I was floored! Now rumors were popping up in January of 1984 that Disney was going to start issuing their Animated Classic on Video. AT the time the only 2 Animated films that had released were "Robing Hood: and "Alice in Wonderland". When "Pinocchio" was released in July of 1985 I was going to buy it but can you believe it was going to cost $80.00!
Well when December of 1985 rolled along and Disney reduced the price to $30.00 and I bought it!
To this day I would still have that Vhs but Hurricane Katrina took it from me but I was just hording it anyway!
Now if you under 40 chances are this isn't your favorite cartoon. However if you are over 30 watch it with your child! The movie still has magic that has never been matched by any other Animated Film
