The Criterion Collection just released this 1973 film "Badlands" which was loosely based on true story. Terrance Malick break through film as a director has been given a complete restoration and the movie shines like it was filmed yesterday.

Now I thought the movie was interesting.. Sissy Spacek does a great job and Martin Sheen tries to channel a James Dean impression however he fails and comes across as annoying.
Now for the film itself its very interesting. It is worth renting but if your local video store doesn't have it to rent then hit me up you can borrow mine.
Now I have not seen the Extras that are on the Disc. Once I do I will post about it but it might be awhile. I wasn't too impressed with the film.
