MAKING LOVE THE 1982 GROUND BREAKING GAY FILM & I THINK IT IS A GOOD REMAKE CANDIDATE

"Masking Love" is the groundbreaking film that happen to be released too soon and right at the beginning of  the "Reagan Era".  Now this film was made before AIDS became a known concern.  In fact the film was released at the time that "Gay Cancer" seem to be spreading.  If your looking for a film about AIDS this isn't that film.  AIDS is never mentioned because at the time it didn't exist.

Now this film is very good.  It seems that time has been kind to this movie.  All the performances seem to hit the right.  On the story side  the movie does  suffer a little because the film makers made a film that tried not to offend anyone.  Still the film is still worth seeing!

If someone wanted to do a remake  today this film would not be made by a major studio.   Too Bad. This is a case where a  remake could be better then the origianl
