SUPERMAN THE MOVIE WARNER BROTHERS RELEASE ALL THE EDITED FOOTAGE

"Superman: The Movie" is a classic motion picture.  Even today this is the movie that all comic-book movies are compared too.

The film has a very colorful history however the most interesting part is that when the film made its TV DEBUT in 1982 the film had 30 minutes of deleted footage re-inserted into the body of the film.

Now because Warner Brothers did not own the rights to the deleted footage they were never included on the first DVD release.  In 2005 or 2006 Warner Brother finally owned the footage and they included "SOME" of this footage in a 2006 DVD  but not all of it.

I hope in the future Warner Brothers  does included all the deleted  footage on  a  DVD release as a bonus feature!  IF they don't want to do that then  they should release  THE 2 PART TELEVISION VERSION
on DVD. I know that sounds crazy but it has been done before.

SCREAM FACTORY did that with the 1981 film "Halloween II" to major success.  So Warner Brothers
