HALLOWEEN II (1981 Version) Finally gets a GREAT HOME VIDEO RELEASE

For 10 years or more rumors abound that the 1981 film "Halloween II" was going to get a Special Edition DVD treatment from Universal Studios.  It never truly did.   We got 3 DVD releases since the inception of DVD's.  In 2011 Universal did release a blu-ray edition which had a few deleted scenes included on the release and the "Terror in the Aisles" documentary film but that is all it had.

Just 1 year later Shout Factory started there "Scream Factory Division" that was devoted to Horrir Films.  "Halloween II" and "Halloween III" were the first titles they released and they did a great job putting together a true special editions of these films.

Now :"Halloween II" had everything one could hope for in a home video release.  It had

* THE EDITED SCENES
* A  WELL DONE MAKING OF SEGMENT
* A ON LOCATION FEATURE
* A DIRECTORS COMMENTARY
* CAST INTERVIEWS

Now I was thrilled with the release.  The only thing missing was any participation form Jamie Lee Curtis or John Carpenter.  It would of been nice to hear from them.

If  you are a true "HALLLOWEEN II" FAN this is the release you have been dreaming about.
