Bad Movies with Great Actors "The Towering Inferno"

"The Towering Inferno" was box office smash upon its release in 1974.  An All-star cast also helped.  The film was nominated even for Best picture however even then critics laughed that this film got nominated.     

This Irwin Allen production was made after the Huge success "The Poseidon Adventure".  That film is miles better and runs 1 hour less.  In the "Towering Inferno" the all star cast had to be serviced and everyone one of them had to have their scenes.  The results were more disastrous then the event portrayed in this film

Steve McQueen Paul Newman Faye Dunaway William Holden  all did this movie for a paycheck.  .
