Movies Not on DVD that should be "Almost Summer"

This film has a minor following.  It has been not made the tv-rounds in years but is still loved by those who have seen it and I am one of them. 

Now Long Before John Hughes made his teen dramas Universal and Motown made this film and it is better then anything John Hughes produced!    Too Bad its not available ON DVD,  

In case you didn't know this film is about a high school election and the stop at nothing people will do to get elected or get their candidate elected.  This film rocks and has a solid soundtrack.  It also treats everyone on this film as equals.  The film is a perfect candidate to be remake purposes.  

Now I am not sure why this has not been released on VHS or DVD.  It had a Vhs release  in Europe under the title "Dirty Looks".
