Disney Fresh of the Success of it "Wizard of Oz" re-boot is now thinking about remaking one of their own properties. On Deadline.Com there is a story about this film getting remade. Director David Lowery and his writing partner Toby Halbrooks (fresh of their SUndance film "Aint Them Bodies Saints") are attached to the project. To me Kathryn Bigelow should direct it. She is one thi best Directors.
Now I enjoyed the Original. I still watch from time to time. It has a charm. My only problem with the original is the fact Jim Dale over projects. He acts like he is performing this on a stage.
Shelly Winters and Red Buttons make this a film too see ...
