Don't get me wrong she is a good actress but she is not a creative person in the sense that she writes her own material. In other words she is no Kristen Wigg.
When a Celebrity is a producer on their own “New Show we get a bad show. Patrica Heaton is a GREAT EXAMPLE of this. Her Show “The Middle” would be much better if she had less control. Another example of "Stars Producing Bad Shows" is Jason Alexander. He did a show on ABC called “Bob Patterson” he threw himself in the writers room and his showed. The show was terrible. Julia Louise-Dreyfuss was a co-producer un the un-watchable “Watching Ellie”. Kelsey Grammer did this on 2 shows "Fired Up" (No he wasn't in it) and "Back to You" which by the way had Patricia Heaton as a co-star. The show was just OKAY and it lasted less then a year. Most Actors are not writers. They Think there funny but its not them that are funny its the writers that make them funny.
The more you look into stars producing there shows the more crap you will turn up.
Now here comes Debra Messing. She should just be an actress. Learn your lines and your marks. Stay away from the “Creative Side”. Your an actress who is well paid. Let the other people do lifting. There much stronger then you.
Trust me if she has a big creative role on this show it will be bad and last then less then a year.
I smell a turd.
