Lawrence Kasdan Release the Kevin Costner Footage from THE BIG CHILL

In this film A group of seven former college friends gather for a weekend reunion at a posh South Carolina winter house after the funeral of one of their friends who committed suicide Kevin Costner played the friend who died.  His scenes were edited out of the film however it is his body that is being prep for the funeral.

This year marks the 30th Anniversary of this film.  What is a trip is that the audience for this film has a nostalgic feeling for this film in which this film had a nostalgic feelings for the 1960's.

The film also ushered in "Yuppie Angst" and we have this film to blame for "Thirty-Something".  However the era of "Yuppie Problems" in films still extends to tv-shows today including "Modern Family". The films influence has yet to end.

Now back to the 30th Anniversary.  This would be the perfect time for Lawrence Kasdan do release as a bonus feature on DVD the legendary edited out scenes of Kevin Costner,  Somewhere in the film was a  dream sequence with his character.

Now this would be nice to see this footage after all this time.  I think it would also be nice to see Kevin in his prime.

If you think about is Lawrence Kasdan does add this footage back into the film it would be the first time in years that I would be looking forward to one of his films.
