Its that time again. ( This posting moves to Thursday starting June 21). The following 3 movies should be at you local Blockbuster. If you can not rent the following movies I suggest you join netflix.
My first pick is "Once Around". This is a great movie. This is a story of a woman who marries the man of her dreams. Holly Hunter is great in this little known movie.
"Muriel's Wedding" is my 2nd pick. The move has a loyal following for a great reason. The movie is one of the best you will ever see. Its funny and heart warming at the same time. The movie is now a classic. If you haven't seen it your in for a treat. In fact its one of my all time favorites.
"Flirting with Disaster" is pick 3. This is a comedy that help put Ben Stiller on the A-List. Now this wasn't a box office smash however Ben Stiller's work in this movie led got him noticed and soon he was cast in "There is Something About Mary". As much I loved "Mary" "Flirting with Disaster" is in a class all of its own!
All of these movies can also be bought on AMAZON.COM. In fact you can get them below $9 each. All of them are worth owning.
