IN 1996 Alexander Payne debut his first movie. This little known movie is called "Citizen Ruth" and boy once you see the movie you will never forget it.
The story is this: A drugged out pregnant woman is caught between the pro life and pro choice movements. Laura Dern stars in the movie and its a MUST SEE. Her co-stars all do a great job. Alexannder Payne also went on the write and direct "Election" and "Sideways". The man has not done 1 bad movie!
