IF they Remake Metropolis then Alex Proyas Should direct it.

I am very surprised that the silent film has never had a remake.  It has influenced countless film and the film is always mentioned as inspiration for many music videos as well.  The biggest influence that can easily be spotted is the 1982 film "Blade Runner".   

"Metropolis" also is an example of a good film that should be remade because most people will not watch a a silent film or a black and white film, "metropolis" happens to be both. 

I think the best director for the job would be "Alex Proyas" or "David Fincher".  I would also state the Ridley Scott Should direct it but in a way he did already with "BLADE RUNNER".   For casting the only recommendation I have is DO NOT CAST JESSICA ALBA.  That girl is pretty but her acting is the worse! 

  

I will not spoil the plot so if you have never seen the film go rent it or BUY IT.  If you buy the film get the fully restored version that was released in 2010 by KINO
