"Song of the South" is a Disney film from 1946. Its a Classic film that Disney is afraid to release on Home Video (IN THE USA) because of the way "African Americans are portrayed in this film". I can't blame Disney for that however they could release the film on DVD and at the beginning of the Movie that could put a disclaimer stating that $4.00 is going to the United Negro College Fund. They could also state "We are Very Sorry if this Film is offensive to anyone" "This film was made in over 60 years ago and it was never the objective of the "Walt Disney Studio" to offend anyone it was true then and its true now!
"The film however is one that many Disney Collectors have been waiting for years and we felt forced to release the film because this film has been illegally sold for years & of course that is not only against the law its also an inferior product that we do not want our Names attached Too" So we felt forced to release the film in a legalize edition!
"At his time" any DVD that this studio sells a portion of the proceeds will be going to the NAACP and the United Negro College Fund.
Thank you For your understanding
