MARY POPPINS NO BLU-RAY MAYBE FOR ITS 50th ANNIVERSARY

There is no official word on a release of "Mary Poppins" on blu-ray but in 2014 the film will mark its 50th anniversary and I doubt Disney will let that pass by without a Blu-Ray release.  I just hope they dio release the film in its proper format.   The first LASERDISC RELEASE which was said to be a "WIDESCREEN RELEASE" was in fact WRONG!  It was widescreen but it still cropped out about 10%  of the picture information.   

The DVD releases have been in the proper format but the film to me looks like it needs a full negative restoration just Disney has done with "Snow White" and other Animated Classics.
