Tyler Perry is a great choice. He first did his alter-ego Madea on stage & in front of an audience So Tyler Perry has vest experience in front of an audience.
I also think this man does deserve more praise and respect. Nobody in Show business handed him his career/ He worked hard and was given a chance by Lions Gate (Not a major Studio) to make a film and he did. "Madea's Family Reunion" was a surprise hit upon its release. It made Lions Gate into a major player in Hollywood and exposed Tyler Perry a new audience.
Tyler Perry is an American Success Story we should all be proud and happy for his success.
