HOLLYWOOD VOMIT FOOTLOOSE 2011 THE REMAKE SUCKS

I thought "Footloose" when it was in the rumor mill about being remade for some reason I thought it was going to be a MUSICAL but I was wrong.  So when this film was released  in 2011 I stayed away because the original film was released when I was 16.  I loved the original film.  It wasn't a great film but was and still is very enjoyable.  Now almost 2 years after its theatrical release I finally sat down to watch the remake and you know what?   This remake just blows.


Now they producers updated the story line and let's face it teens today would just laugh at all the bullshit.  Yes this film takes place in the Bible Belt however lets face it teen in the BIBLE BELT rebel  as much as teens everywhere else.  Now they still grow up and become worthless Republican Voting Christians but the filmmakers avoid that.

The problem however with this remake is that the casting is wrong.  The leads can not act and they should never be cast in anything ever again.    The "Color Blind Casting" however was a nice touch but that's not saying much.


If you never have seen the Original then "SEE IT".  Avoid this
